1939-2026
Jerry Gaffney died peacefully surrounded by whānau at Patrick Ferry House on October 23rd, 2026. He was 3 days short of his 87th birthday.
Son of Hazell and Mary (Braithwaite), Brother to Patricia and Diana.
Partner to Kathy O’Brien (deceased 2024) and loved Dad of Michael, Jan, Tania, Kim, Alana, Nadine and Joe.
He is a grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, great uncle and friend to many.
Our sincere thanks to the staff at Patrick Ferry House for the wonderful and respectful way they cared for Dad throughout his stay. And to Debborah at H Morris for guiding us through a difficult time.
He will be sadly missed in the years to come
A send-off will be held at Muldoon’s, Orewa on 31st October 2026, 2-5pm.
