Carmel Jean (nee Fribence).

Born December 18, 1945. On Saturday 5 October 2024, Carmel finally succumbed to the illness she had defied so
spiritedly for the past three years, dying peacefully at Harbour Hospice with her family at her side.
Beloved wife of David. Treasured mother and mother- in law of Sarah and David, James and Kathy.
Much loved Nonna of her grandchildren Oliver, Henry, James, Mollie, and the late Damica.
Carmel was loved and respected by her wider family, her nieces, nephews and their families, both here
and in Australia. To celebrate Carmel’s life and provide an opportunity for the host of friends she
garnered during her life, to offer their final farewells, a funeral service will be held at Romaleigh Chapel, 31 Ocean
View Road, Northcote. On Wednesday 16 October, 1.00 p.m
