Passed away peacefully on 23 October 2026 at North Shore Hospital aged 82.

A beautiful human being.

Dearly loved husband of Jenny ( nee Lankshear).

Loved third son of Maude and Hunter.  Brother to Nellein, (deceased) ,Roy (deceased), Gavin and Tony.

Loved and respected uncle of Susan, Barbara, Alan, Andrew, Kirsty, Sarah and the numerous nieces and nephews on the Lankshear side.

Thanks to the staff at the Bert Sutcliffe Care Centre, St Johns ambulance and the staff at Northshore Hospital for their dedicated care and service.

A funeral service for Alec will be held at 1pm on Friday, 30th October at St John the Baptist Anglican Church, 47 Church Street, Northcote point.
