McLEAY, Captain Michael John William (retired)
Born 25 November 1939, and died on Wednesday 19 February 2025 at North Shore Hospital after a long illness.
Much loved husband of Carol for 51 years; beloved father of Phil and Jaime, and father-in-law of Jephunneh; doting Poppa of Harley, Ava, Dallas, Flynn, and Quinn; cherished brother of Peter and Wendy, Sheryn, and Penny and Tony; brother-in-law of Sue and Bernie; loved by all his nieces and nephews; and also remembered by Brad.
A funeral will be held at Romaleigh Chapel, 31 Ocean View Rd, Northcote on Saturday 1 March 2025 at 11am.
Mike’s Austin Healeys were his post-aviation passion and we all loved the joy they bought him. He’s on his final flight now; fly well our kind and calm friend, we will see you again.
