Barbara Dorothy Millensted

MILLENSTED, Barbara Dorothy (formerly GILLMORE) Died peacefully on Friday morning 30 May 2025 in her apartment at Northbridge Retirement Village. In her 99th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Ron Millensted and the late Alex Gillmore.

Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Jenny Harman; David Gillmore & Kaye Basire; and Catherine & Rodney Kay Adored Granny and Great Gran of Robert & Meaghan Harman, Olivia and Georgia; Amanda & Chris Baker and Elijah; and Michelle & Jason Pope.

Will be greatly missed by all. Special thanks to Dr Veronica Lamplough, the staff at Northbridge, Harbour Hospice, Trina Marks, and the carers from Miranda Smith. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday 5 June at St John the Baptist Anglican Church, 47 Church St, Northcote Point, Auckland.
